Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure (HSA) is a privately owned Travel and Trekking Management Company founded in 2015, serving both the corporate and leisure traveller. Our head office is located in Kathmandu, and we strive to offer excellent travel and trekking experiences year-round, at a reasonable cost. HSA is a member of the Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal (TAAN), Village Tourism Promotion Forum Nepal (VITOF) and Tourism Industry Division. We offer everyone the opportunity to discover and appreciate the beauty and challenge of our breathtaking Himalayan mountains. Highlights of Annapurna Circuit Trek Throughout the trek, you are treated to breathtaking views of some of the highest peaks in the world, including Annapurna I (8,091m), Annapurna II, Dhaulagiri I (8,167m), Machapuchare (Fishtail), and Manaslu. Highest Point of the Trek: The Thorong La Pass is the highest point of the Annapurna Circuit, sitting at an elevation of 5,416 meters (17,769 feet), You will encounter Manange and Thakkali villages in the arid semi-desert region. Mananges have Tibetan ancestry and share more cultural similarities with Tibetans than with Hindu Nepalese. Bon practitioners can also be found in the isolated desert valleys. Buddhism was preceded by the animistic religion of Bon. Before Buddhism gained popularity, the majority of people in the Trans Himalayan region of Tibet and Nepal practiced Bon.
